Amid Covid-19 the weeks and months have merged into on, all series on Netflix binged and your entire movie section watched. Now we’re in June and so close to Father’s day.
Have you started panicking yet or is that just me? I think I’ve got a semi formed plan of what I want to do but I thought a gift guide would be good fall back and to
I love setting up really personal gifts for people. These gift boxes from Etsy are perfect for personalising your Fathers Day present!
I’ve ordered one of the larger, mustard boxes which I plan on filling with some of his favourites!
The usual dad favourites; pickled onions; beer; cheese!
You can find some great little fillers on Etsy, like wallets; books; treats etc. which leads on well to my next gift idea!
This box starts at £2.95 on Etsy
A wallet filled with gift cards
My partner doesn’t like gift cards. He feels they’re impersonal, which I don’t necessarily disagree with but I love this idea.
I like the idea so much because it gives freedom to buy what they would like, you can’t get it wrong.
You can also give the personal touch by getting gift cards from their favourite shops!
Personally, I would buy gift cards for the following if you’re stuck for ideas:
- John Lewis
- If they have a hobby, find a good shop that specialises in it.
This wallet is £59 from Ted Baker
Groupon is fantastic for experience days.
I mean, how often are you going to get to drive a Ferrari or Lamborghini? Or ride a hot air balloon?
Here’s my favourite list
- Gin tasting
- Wine tasting
- Any car experience
- Off road experience
- Helicopter rides

The best cards
I’ve bought numerous cards from Thortful over the years, a personal favourite being a card that had a picture of an inhaler and the words “you take my breath away”. As an asthmatic, I loved it.
They have some really funny cards and they come super fast, so check them out!
I love Thortful
